The all night search for 14 year old Sammy Posey came to a happy ending when the youngster was returned to the Edinburg baseball field that had served as the search command post. The youngster was found some 3 miles off Coosa Road after an estimated 7-8 mile journey. A Mississippi Highway Patrol helicopter returned the youngster at approximately 9:30 am, where he told his mother upon being reunited, "I want to go home".
