At approximately 7:10 a.m., Attala County Fire Department and Ethel Volunteers were dispatched to a structure fire on Natchez Trace Parkway. This was a cabin at mile marker 165. When firemen arrived at the scene, the structure was fully involved. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time but Attala County Fire Department has stated that it was a total loss.
