The Kosciusko Fire Department has a new fire engine.
The 2023 Rosenbauer Commander arrived in Kosciusko Wednesday about 2:30 pm after being driven in from South Dakota.
According to Fire Chief Duane Burdine, the engine was hand built to the exact specifications the department required.
Burdine said the department has been working on getting the truck for over two years, but manufacturing and production delays lengthened the process.
This new engine will replace a 2001 engine the department currently uses.
