An Attala County game warden has been named one of eight Officers of the Year by the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks.

The agency named Jason Blaylock as the NWTF Conservation Officer of the Year.

In a Facebook post, the MDWFP said Blaylock and the other conservation officers were recognized “for outstanding achievements and actions performed above and beyond the call of duty.”
