At approximately 5:00am Saturday morning, Pickle’s Drug Store was broken into.
The suspect broke the glass out of the front door and entered the building.
KPD officers arrived on the scene as the suspect was coming out of the store.
The suspect was able to get into his car hitting one of the officers with the car.
Other officers pursued the vehicle from downtown Kosciusko to Highway12 but were unable to apprehend the suspect.
The injured officer was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
