At approximately 11:00 am Friday, emergency crews were called to the Hwy 19/35 intersection south of Kosciusko for a two-car wreck.
According to Attala County Fire Chief Tim Cox, one person was injured during the accident and was expected to be airlifted for further treatment.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
