The Attala County Library recently wrapped up its summer program.
Throughout the summer, the library organized 16 programs for children, teenagers, and adults with over 1,235 attendees.
Collectively, participants read for a combined total of over 76,200 minutes.
Winners of the Children’s & Teen’s SLP prizes, bikes bikes and a Fujifilm Instax Mini Camera donated by Kosciusko Walmart, were Jack Richardson, Lily Mayers, and Aria Edwards.
Prizes for the adult program, which are donated by Jason’s Southern table, will be drawn at the end of July.
During the water-works party, the Kosciusko Fire Deptartment sprayed the participants with lots of water, and kids ran around eating snow cones, and squirting friends with water guns.
