SALLIS, Miss.–A fire reported Saturday afternoon just after 3:30 spread and burned a shed and a brush on Attala Rd. 4101 near Sallis.
Several people saw the fire and called 911.
When firefighters got there they devised a strategy to get the fire contained.
Fighting the fire was tough and after a little over an hour, it was reported contained. The Mississippi Forestry Commission arrived to take over once the fire was contained.
No injuries were reported with the fire.
