Attala County emergency responders were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash near Hurricane Church on HWY 12 Monday night. Authorities believe the driver may have experienced a medical emergency, causing the truck to veer off the road and strike a power pole.
Entergy crews were called to secure the power lines, and the driver was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Attala County Fire Department, EMS, Attala Deputies, and Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to the crash.
