Disposing of waste in creeks, rivers, ditches, on private property, or in others’ trash cans is illegal and may lead to charges such as littering and theft of utilities.

Authorities say this is a constant issue, with parts of the county littered with trash, debris, and broken furniture and appliances. ACSO states that cameras are in use to capture illegal dumping at known dumping sites.
