Update: Missing Leake County teenager Kassidy Washington has been located and is home.
Washington had been missing since Feb. 3, where she was last seen on Ealy Rd in Lena.
According to a Facebook post from the Leake County Sheriff’s Office, the investigation is ongoing and no further information is being released at the time of this report.
February 3 – Authorities are searching for 14-year-old Kassidy Washington. Kassidy was last seen walking from 1249 Ealy Rd. in Lena around 1:00 a.m. on February 3, 2025.
She is described as 5’4” tall, weighing approximately 110 pounds, and was wearing a black jacket, black pants, and purple Crocs at the time of her disappearance.
