KOSCIUSKO, Miss.–A vehicle fire was reported Friday evening just before 6 at the intersection of Attala roads 4203 and 4205.
A few minutes after the call was dispatched to firefighters, another person called to say that the fire had spread to the woods.
Once the first fire truck got there, a firefighter reported that the vehicle was in the middle of the road and was fully involved.
The fire was contained within 20 minutes.
That was at the same that deputies were working a two-car wreck on Hwy. 19 south.
The Highway Patrol was also reported working a wreck on I-55 at the same time. No details about that wreck were available.
