Attala County authorities are investigating a shooting incident that took place around 7 a.m. on Wednesday, March 26, on Attala Road 4116 between Sallis and McAdams.
Deputies discovered a Chevrolet Impala with a bullet hole in its windshield but found no one in or around the vehicle.
According to Investigator Scott Chunn, there are no signs of injuries related to the incident.
The investigation remains ongoing, and officials urge anyone with information to come forward.
