The Ethel Tigers softball team captured the Region 6-1A Championship Thursday night.
The team defeated Nanih Waiya 2-0 to finish the season undefeated in district play.
As district champs, the team gets a #1 seed in the postseason and will have home field advantage in the first round of the playoffs, which begin Thursday, April 18.
The complete playoff bracket will be released later this week.
