Two local baseball all-star teams qualified for state tournament over the weekend.
The Kosciusko 6U Dixie Youth all-stars won the district tournament, finishing the weekend undefeated. The team will now advance to play in the Dixie Youth State Tournament July 4 -6 in Philadelphia.
Additionally, the 8U Dixie Youth baseball all-stars finished 2nd in the district tournament. That win qualified the team to play in the Dixie Youth State Tournament July 4 -6 in Columbia.
All district tournament games were played at Hugh Ellard Park in Kosciusko.
