Update: Teen Wanted for Armed Robbery in Kosciusko is Now in Custody

Update (7/25/25)
Ricky Luckett is now in police custody.

He is being charged with two counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling and one count of armed robbery.

Luckett has been transported to the Leake County Correctional Facility and is being held without bond.

Kosciusko Police are searching for 17-year-old Ricky Luckett, wanted for an armed robbery that happened on June 15.

Luckett is currently out on bond for two previous armed robbery charges.

    With all due respect to our Justice system, let him go free to do it again and again and again! They probably even gave the gun back to him! Liberal antics!

    I agree with Michael. In a lot of instances It is just amazing how same people get arrested over and over again for same crime
    ..even a DUI..and are out walking the streets shortly afterward. Then arrested short time later..same charge. Obviously these people need help. Don’t know answer to this.
    I see old hospital building repainted. Wouldn’t that be a perfect place to make into apartments for the residents at Campbell motel who need new place to live on limited budget. Just a suggestion. Houses/Apartment rent is very expensive. Kosciusko has a lot happening to be proud of but let’s not forget there are also people who need help in our town.

      Would take a “few” $million to fix and bring up to code .
