Holmes County Sheriff Willie March is warning residents of Holmes County and the Kosciusko area about a scam in which individuals are receiving phone calls requesting donations for the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO).
Sheriff March clarified that the HCSO does not solicit donations and has no fund set up for such purposes.
He urged the public to be cautious and report any suspicious calls to local authorities.
