Deputies came upon a hit-and-run crash on Hwy 12 at the Hwy 43 bypass this morning just after 8 a.m.
MS Hwy Patrol, Attala County Fire Department, and EMS were quickly dispatched to the crash site.
The vehicle that remained on scene was totaled and had to be towed from the site. No major injuries were reported.
The description of the vehicle that fled the scene is an older model blue Chevrolet Blazer.
MS Hwy Patrol is in charge of investigating the hit-and-run wreck.

September 19, 2025 at 10:50 AMon the west side of Kosciusko going towards McAdams. Most people call that the “new bypass” although it has been open many years.
