Marvin Myles Jr. filed a petition in Attala County Circuit Court on Monday, June 23, contesting the outcome of the June 3, 2025, election.
The case challenges the certification of results that determined the winner of the city’s mayoral race.
The trial is scheduled for November 12–14, 2025, at the Attala County Circuit Court, with Judge Jeff Weill Sr. presiding.
