The Attala County Fire Department will host an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new Central Station on December 9, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
The facility is located at 1017 South Huntington St., Kosciusko, Mississippi.
The public and media are invited to attend. Refreshments will be provided and guests will have the opportunity to tour the station and meet members of the department.
ACFD Chief Tim Cox says the department is honored to welcome Jason White, Speaker of the Mississippi House of Representatives, whose involvement was essential to the success of this project.
The department also wishes to recognize and thank the Attala County Board of Supervisors—past and present members—Rozier Construction, Arthur Cook, and all donors for their essential contributions to the project.
“This new station represents our continued dedication to the community,” said Fire Chief Tim Cox. “We’re counting our blessings one by one.”
