Kosciusko Attala Career Tech Center recently hosted Discovery Days at Ethel High School, McAdams High School, and Kosciusko High School to introduce career and technical education opportunities to students.
During each Discovery Day, KACTC program instructors set up engaging, hands-on activities designed to showcase the skills and experiences students can expect in each career pathway. These interactive demonstrations allowed students to explore each program including Agriculture, Automotive, Construction, Ed Prep, Health Science, Keystone, Multimedia, and Welding.
Current KACTC students also played a key role in the events by sharing valuable insight with their peers. Through personal experiences and student-led discussions, they highlighted program expectations, career opportunities, and the benefits of hands-on learning at the Career Tech Center.
