This week, the Kosciusko Attala Partnership Board of Directors and Executive Director participated in a strategic planning session with TVA, focused on guiding the next 3–5 years of growth for the Chamber, economic development efforts, and tourism initiatives.
The discussions focused on ways to strengthen the community and create new opportunities for residents and businesses in Kosciusko and Attala County.
Kristi Brown led the session, with TVA representative Chelsea Baulch helping coordinate. Executive Director Mary Katherine Dean organized the meeting and guided the planning efforts.

January 15, 2026 at 2:53 PMI’m delighted to see growth for Kosciusko. A theatre, seafood restaurant, a bowling alley could be among suggesting. Things to keep the citizens from spending money elsewhere. The square is beautiful and growing every Christmas. May this be successful and thank you all for your efforts and determination.

January 22, 2026 at 6:02 AMThere could be some diversity on the planning board. In order for Kosy to grow you need something to keep people here. Places for the kids to have fun not just sports.

January 24, 2026 at 4:35 PMI agree, Kosciusko is a diverse community and the board should reflect such. Better paying jobs should top the list. Not so many low wage employers. A place for families to dine so they won’t have to drive to so far. Entertainment and activities are needed for the children to help keep them out of trouble.
