Schools in the Kosciusko School District, Attala County School District, and Presbyterian Day School will return to normal schedules on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026, following closures due to this week’s ice storm.
The districts were closed Monday and Tuesday because of icy roads, falling trees, and unsafe driving conditions. Attala County Emergency Management Director Danny Townsend said officials confirmed it is now safe for students and staff to return to classrooms.
