KOSCIUSKO, Miss.–A grass fire that started as a controled burn got out of hand Sunday afternoon on private property in the Williamsville area.
Someone had been burning boxes and the fire caught up in the grass. While the wind was blowing steadily the fire traveled a short distance.
At 1:20 p.m. Attala County firefighters responded.
The fire was contained within a few minutes and no one was reported hurt.
