There is low visibility in the McAdams area due to a controlled burn according to Attala County Fire Chief Tim Cox.
Approximately 300 acres are being burned as part of the operation. Smoke from the burn is causing reduced visibility on nearby roadways, and drivers are urged to use caution when traveling through the area.
Officials say the visibility issues may last through the night.
