Attala County Schools will once again offer free meals to children this summer through its annual Summer Food Service Program, helping ensure students have access to nutritious food while school is out of session.
The program will run June 1 – June 25, operating Monday through Thursday at two feeding sites across the county. Children will be able to receive both breakfast and lunch each day during the program.
Breakfast will be served from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., followed by lunch from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Meals will be available at the following locations:
- Ethel High School
- McAdams High School
School officials say the Summer Food Service Program plays an important role in supporting families by helping ensure children continue to receive healthy meals during the summer months. The initiative reflects the district’s continued commitment to student well-being and community support.
For more information about the program, families can contact Child Nutrition Administrator Neshaunda Brown at (662) 289-2801 or by email at [email protected].
