The Attala County Library has released its calendar of events for the month of May.
One of the featured events is the library’s third annual Cinco de Mayo Fiesta, set for Tuesday, May 5. The celebration will include a variety of themed treats and activities for attendees.
Later in the month, the library will officially launch its Summer Library Program, titled “Unearth a Story,” on May 26 at 6 p.m. The kickoff event will take place in the meeting room and will feature The Dinosaur Experience show, designed to entertain and engage families and young readers.
Summer reading logs will be available during the kickoff event, though library officials note that registration is not required for children to participate in the reading program.
