FEMA Disaster Assistance Teams Arrive in Kosciusko to Aid Storm Recovery

Residents impacted by recent severe weather will have an opportunity to receive in-person assistance this week as FEMA Disaster Survivor Assistance (DSA) teams set up in Kosciusko.

According to information shared by the City of Kosciusko’s Facebook page, FEMA representatives will be available at the Attala County Coliseum from May 4 through May 9. The teams are on hand to help individuals apply for disaster assistance and provide guidance on available recovery resources.

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Officials encourage those affected by the storms to take advantage of the opportunity to speak directly with FEMA representatives, who can answer questions and assist with the application process.
