Attala County Deputies responded to a shooting incident that was reported on Monday evening near the Ethel Quick Stop.
At approximately 7:22 p.m., a caller reported that someone had fired a gun at their son while at the store. No injuries were reported.
According to the caller, the people believed to be responsible left the scene in two vehicles. The caller reportedly followed the vehicles and said they believed the alleged shooter would be headed toward the Hannah Heights area.
An investigator spoke with the individuals involved. No charges were filed.
