Area youth basketball players will hit the court next week as the Little Whippet Basketball Camp returns to Kosciusko June 1–3.
The three-day camp will run each morning from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and is designed for boys and girls entering grades 3 through 5.
Hosted by the Kosciusko School District, the camp will focus on basketball fundamentals, skill development, competition, and teamwork in a fun and active environment.
Participants will work with local coaches including Coach Guyton, Coach Bailey, Coach Huffman, and Coach Smith during the camp sessions at Kosciusko Elementary, home of the Whippets.
Camp organizers say the event is built around the message: “Learn. Improve. Compete. Have Fun!”
The Little Whippet Camp provides young athletes with an opportunity to stay active during the summer while improving their game and building confidence on the court.
