The McAdams High School and Long Creek Elementary School band program is gearing up for the 2026–2027 school year with a special three-day summer band camp.
In a letter to families, new band director Ms. Arasmith expressed her excitement about working with students and invited band members in grades 7–12 to participate in the summer camp, which will be held July 22-24 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
“Students who are in band will have the opportunity to make music together, show school spirit, and perform for the community this upcoming school year,” Arasmith wrote.
The camp is designed to give students a head start on learning new tunes and preparing for the fall season. Family members are welcome and encouraged to attend any part of the camp. Students who do not already have an instrument will be provided one during the sessions.
On the final day of camp, Friday, July 24th, the band will host a Band Family Barbeque at 12 p.m., with all band students and their families invited to attend.
Communication and Sign-Up
The band will primarily use the REMIND messaging system for announcements and updates throughout the year. Families are strongly encouraged to sign up before camp begins.
