Members of the Attala FFA chapter traveled to Starkville June 2, 2026, to take part in the 93rd Mississippi FFA State Convention held at Mississippi State University.
The annual convention brought together FFA members from across the state for leadership development events, workshops, awards presentations, and opportunities to connect with state sponsors and alumni.
Attala FFA students participated in a variety of leadership activities and represented their chapter in Leadership Development Events (LDEs), where members compete in public speaking and career-focused skill areas.
A highlight for the chapter came in the FFA Creed Speaking Contest, where Ava Smith of the Attala Junior FFA chapter placed second overall in the state. Her achievement earned recognition for the chapter’s strong performance. Fellow member Bentlee Ebelhar accepted the award on her behalf during the ceremony.

Students in attendance from the Attala FFA chapter included Emma Dees, Angelica Dodds, Sarah Cessna, Kimyrah Oats, Mr. Edde, Eli Perteet, Bentlee Ebelhar, Lily Cessna, Brystal Allison, Taylin Ellis, and Ashealia Hardin. A group photo was taken with Southern Heritage during the event.
