The Kosciusko Attala Partnership will host its “Celebrate America 250” celebration on Saturday, June 27, from 2 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
The family-friendly event will feature a Kid & Pet Parade, games and activities, historical demonstrations, a cornhole tournament, food trucks, live entertainment, and a classic car display by the Kosy Kruisers.
A Veterans Recognition ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. and will include remarks from Mississippi Speaker of the House Jason White.
Entertainment throughout the day will include performances by The Dance Company and Kosy Pops.
The celebration will conclude with a fireworks finale at 8:30 p.m.
The event commemorates the 250th anniversary of the United States and carries the theme, “Honoring Our Past, Inspiring Our Future.”
