Youth football players will take center stage this weekend in Kosciusko as the city prepares for the annual “Meet the Little Whippets” event.
The Kosciusko Board of Aldermen approved a street closure request for Saturday, Aug. 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to accommodate the gathering. The closure will affect the street segment between Knox Road and North East Street, directly in front of the Boys & Girls Club and Jackson-Niles Park.
Community members are encouraged to come out and support the young athletes.
