Around 8:30 Tuesday night, the Attala County Fire Department was notified of a grass fire behind a residence on Attala Road 1106.
The fire was less than an acre in size and was the result of some outdoor burning. Central and Zama responded to the call and extinguished it without any need for forestry. No injuries were reported.
