Around 1:39 PM, first responders were dispatched to a call about a car that drove into a ditch on Pope St. in Ethel. No injuries occurred, and the driver was able to climb out of her car without issue.
About ten minutes later at 1:49, they received another call for an injury that had occurred on Pope St. as well. A man had lacerations on his left leg. It is unclear at the moment whether this incident is at all related to the car accident. EMS was called to the scene to provide aid.
