A vehicle crashed into a home on North Wells Street in Kosciusko Wednesday night just before 9 p.m. after a Kosciusko Police officer attempted to stop the vehicle.
The driver, now identified as 26-year-old Michael Bullock of Kosciusko, fled from police and lost control of the vehicle on North Wells St. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a home, causing damage to the yard and the front of the structure.
Bullock then exited the vehicle and fled from authorities on foot. KPD Chief Greg Collins says Bullock was taken into custody following a short foot chase, and no one was injured.
Bullock faces several charges, including felony failure to stop a motor vehicle, felony malicious mischief, resisting arrest, driving under the influence, no insurance, driving with a suspended license, two counts of disregard for a traffic control device, and improper equipment. His total bond was set at $103,107.25, and he was booked into the Leake County Correctional Facility.
Authorities also discovered that Bullock is currently on probation for a robbery committed in the state of Georgia. That probation has been moved to Mississippi via an Interstate Compact Transfer.
