The Attala County Fire Department received word of a woods fire on Attala Rd. 3102 at about 7:30 p.m evening.
When they arrived, they found a blaze covering approximately 20 acres of woods.
Forestry responded and plowed a lane to contain the fire.
The cause is currently under investigation.
