The Kosciusko Whippets football team hosted the Olive Branch Conquistadors for homecoming Friday night.
The home team got first blood, but the visitors got their own touchdown. 7-7, first quarter. Olive Branch added a touchdown almost halfway through the second quarter, 14-7. Kosciusko rallied and led at the half, 21-14.
After a hard-fought third quarter, the Whippets led 31-21. Much more action in the fourth quarter with the final being 44-27, Kosciusko.
Jontavious Roundtree and Lakendrick Williams were named the Autumn Ridge Players of the Game. Now, that’s something to smile about!
