Several people were arrested in Kosciusko over the weekend regarding separate incidents involving drugs and domestic disturbances.
On Friday, Sept. 25, Kosciusko Police responded to Walmart for a reported domestic disturbance in progress. Both people involved were arrested.
Dustin Yarborough, 33, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, and domestic violence-simple assault.
Amanda Bland, 39, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.
On Saturday, Sept. 26, officers responded to Burger King after receiving a report of a vehicle sitting in the drive-thru with everyone inside asleep. Three men were arrested. Authorities said charges stemming from the incident were enhanced because the three (below) were in possession of firearms while in possession of drugs.
Vontae McDonald, 20, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, DUI-first offense, no insurance, and driving with a suspended license.
Ricky Luckett, 19, was charged with possession of paraphernalia.
Ceavon Toliver, 20, was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Also Saturday, officers responded to a residence on Victoria Lane for a domestic disturbance. An ambulance was called, and a woman involved was taken to the hospital with multiple non-life-threatening injuries.
Lonnie Patrick was arrested and charged with domestic violence-simple assault and disorderly conduct-failure to comply with law enforcement.
