The Kosciusko Whippets hosted the Louisville Wildcats in the pre-eminent regional rivalry game of the season.
The Wildcats scored first with a touchdown. Kosciusko added points, and almost a scuffle, with the first quarter ending 13-3, Wildcats. In further furious play, the Wildcats led at halftime, 26-10.
Continuing to shut down the home team’s efforts, the Wildcats finished with the win, 59-38.
Braden Ray was named the Autumn Ridge Player of the Game. Now, that’s something to smile about!
Next week, the Whippets travel to Greenwood to play the Bulldogs. All Whippets football broadcasts are available on Breezy 103, breezynews.com, the Breezy 103 app, and on YouTube on Boswell Media Sports Breezy 103 channel.
