6:26 pm Attala Deputies, The Mississippi Highway Patrol, MedStat EMS along with Attala Fire and Rescue responded to a report of a one vehicle MVA. The caller said a car crashed into a building. While en-route firefight were notified that the vehicle was smoking.
Emergency Personnel arrived on scene and found on vehicle had crashed into a front porch of a commercial building. The The driver was out of the auto and ambulatory.
One patient was transported to Baptist Attala for medical treatment.
There has been no word on to the exact cause of the accident. The Mississippi Highway Patrol will be in charge of the investigation.
