One person is dead following a wreck in northern Attala County.
The one car accident happened at approximately 10:30 am about six miles north of Kosciusko on Hwy 43 near Attala Road 3217.
A spokesman for the Attala County Fire Department said it appears the driver lost control of the vehicle, a Nissan Altima, causing it to flip off the road down an embankment.
Attala County Coroner Sam Bell identified the victim as 52-year-old Mae Jean Clark. Bell said Clark was pronounced dead at the scene
The Mississippi Highway Patrol is charge of the investigation.
