At 7:01 pm Attala Deputies, MedStat EMS, The Mississippi Highway Patrol along with Attala Fire and Rescue responded to a report of a two vehicle MVA. The caller said it was located on highway 35 south approximately 1/2 mile from the highway 19 intersection.
Emergency personnel called for two ambulances to be dispatch to assist on the scene. An air ambulance was also called to meet the ground units at the football field to transport a male to a Jackson hospital for medical treatment. A female was transported to Baptist-Attala to be treated for her injuries.
There has been no word on the cause of the crash or the extent of the injuries involved.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol will be in charge of the investigation.
