The Town of Ethel will have a run-off election to find its new alderman-at-large.
According to a post on the Town of Ethel Facebook page, Ophelia Mitchell received the most votes in Tuesday’s special election with only 46% of the vote. Deborah Black was the runner up with 16 votes – 19%. The run-off election will take place on October 27.
The winner will finish the term of former alderman Paul Stewart who passed away in August.
