Attala County Emergency Management Director Danny Townsend says that area roads deteriorated overnight and are “extremely dangerous” this morning.
Conditions are not expected to improve until temperatures rise about freezing sometime Wednesday morning.
Townsend once again reiterated for drivers to stay off of the road unless absolutely necessary.
