Danny Townsend is Attala County’s new fire chief.
That was made official during Tuesday’s meeting of the Attala County Board of Supervisors.
Chancery Clerk Taylor Casey said that Townsend was named fire chief as an expansion of duties.
He will continue to serve as Attala County’s Emergency Management Director.
