KOSCIUSKO, Miss.–A woman called police Saturday morning just before 6 and said she had been assaulted by a man at her house on Victoria Ln. in Kosciusko. She also reported that the man who assaulted her was still there.
A short time later an officer reported back that one man had been taken into custody. The officer later radioed that the man was being transported to the Leake County Jail.
No description of the assault was provided.
