Attala Deputies Assist With Police Chase From Carthage

CARTHAGE, Miss.–When a car refused to stop for Carthage Police about 6:30 Friday evening, they chased the car north out of the city limits.

The 2016 Chevy was occupied by a person they described as a male with a gray hat.

Police lost sight of the car near the Tyson plant on Hwy. 35.

The car was registered to a person Carthage. But, since it was headed north, Attala County deputies were notified of the chase and stood by, waiting to try and pull the car over.

They waited for about 45 minutes and not seeing the car, went back to regular patrol.
