KOSCIUSKO, Miss.–A Dodge Charger reported stolen in Durant crashed Saturday night during a chase by Attala County sheriff’s deputies.
An Attala County dispatcher alerted deputies about the stolen car just after 9:30 p.m. At 9:45 a deputy pulled the car over at West Jefferson St. and Hwy 12, according to police radio traffic.
Shortly after that the car took off and speeds reached 75 mph, according to the deputy’s report to dispatch.
The car crashed near the intersection of highways 43 and 14.
Shortly after the crash an ambulance was called to the scene. A deputy said he was accompanying the suspect to the hospital.
